About English Department

The Department of English was established in 2016 in our college.

The English Department helps students build knowledge of the content and methods of literary studies. English education, and academic, professional, and creative writing. College provides Communication Skills as a compulsory subject and elective paper as an Introduction to Literature Paper I & II for FYBA. Introduction to Drama Paper II and, Introduction to Poetry Paper III for Semester III & IV for SYBA. English Department form “Students English Literary Forum (SELF)” for academic activities and to develop passion and interest in English Language, and inculcate human values and universal truth.

1. To make the Department and the classroom a hub for academic activity and for opening up the latent potential of the students so as to develop their personality too.

On 19th January 2026, the department organized a workshop on “Interview Skills and Resume Building.” Asst. Prof. Vasundhara Jadhav guided resume preparation, while Asst. Prof. Vaibhav Keer and Asst. Prof. Asavari Mayekar conducted a practical interview skills session with simulations. Students from all streams actively participated.
