The Department of Sociology was established in 2016-2017.The sociology Department offers a distinctive and enlightening way of seeing and understanding the social world in which we live and which shapes our lives.The Sociology Department is conduct various king of Co-curricular and Extra Curricular activities which helping for student to understand practical knowledge of society. The department of Sociology organizes field visits, seminars, and project work which are always useful for students of sociology. After BA in Sociology students will be eligible for several competitive exams to get good private and government jobs.

Objectives:

To prepare students for bringing about transformative change in social groups, and communities through knowledge of social forces and humanistic values.
Students will be able to know who have been well trained in sociology, know how to think critically about human social life, and how to ask important research questions.
To provide quality interdisciplinary education and training through fieldwork, writings, discussions and research.
