The Department of Zoology was established in 2017-18. With an aim to provide opportunities for professional and personal development through curricular and co- curricular activities.
Under the banner of Bharat Shikshan Mandal Arts, Commerce, Science Senior College, Zoology Department organizes educational Visits to Museums, Research Stations, Guest lecture, Industrial visits etc.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology opens a vast range of Career opportunities in different fields such as Teaching and Research, Museum curators, Indian Forest services, Animal and Wildlife educators, Research projects Assistants, Indian Administrative services.
It also provides a huge opening for Medical Laboratories, Hatcheries, Museum services, Conservation agencies, Environment or Ecosystem Management sector etc.
