The establishment of the Arts, Commerce, Science Senior College of the Bharat Shikshan Mandal, located in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra took place in August 19th 2016. In the last two years, on January 12th, 2019, the college was renamed "Bharat Shikshan Mandal's Arts, Commerce and Science Senior College, Ratnagiri" and our college became affiliated with 'Mumbai University.' The college has received positive feedback from students in the past seven years. An article about the progress of the college is currently in the process of being written, and a good response is expected for this academic year as well.
At the inception of the college, the provision of quality education through central teaching facilities was the first priority. Accordingly, the college fulfilled the accreditation requirements for three branches, we offer courses like B.A., B.Com, B.Sc. with stream of Humanities & Social Sciences, Accounting & Commerce, Science. Additionally, a variety of essential subjects were made available to benefit students' future. College provides good facilities and infrastructure like Auditorium, Canteen, Library, and Gymkhana, advanced Science Lab facilities, advanced information transmission, and the use of educational resources were provided through the availability of ICT classrooms to the students.
Within the college, there is a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, fostering the holistic development of students. To enhance students' diverse talents, important departments were established within the university and the college. The result is evident as the college received the first prize and accolades for the 'Department of Literature' at Mumbai University's Youth Festival in the academic year 2019-20, marking a significant achievement in the last three years.
Up until now, five batches of students have graduated with undergraduate degrees from the college. Some have pursued postgraduate education, while others are successfully working in various fields. Some have even ventured into entrepreneurship, bringing honour to the college.
The ultimate goal of starting Bharat Shikshan Mandal's Senior College is to produce well-educated citizens who, having completed their degrees, contribute to society. Each student leaving the college should be an exemplary modern citizen with a well-established foothold in their life. For this, the President, Executive Director, Members, Principal, Faculty, and other staff of the college consistently strive for excellence. The institution and the college aim for continuous success, ensuring that students achieve bright futures and fulfil their potential in life. This commitment is what will keep Bharat Shikshan Mandal firmly on its path to success.
